Federal Stafford, PLUS, and Graduate PLUS loan lenders

The lenders listed on the Borrower's Choice lender list have been selected based on customer service and borrower benefits. Neither Belmont University nor the Office of Student Financial Services benefit from referring students to any lender.

Even though we offer a list of commonly used lenders, you are free to choose any lender that participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). Choosing one of these lenders should allow your funds to be processed expeditiously.

There are also FFELP lenders who do not process loans electronically. If you choose one of these lenders to originate your loan, you will go through a slower paper process which may result in the delay of your loan disbursement.
